Mission to Hostels

The Marthoma Sunday School Samajam has also revived it’s Mission to Hostels programme this year.
The first for this year was at the Gurukulam Higher Secondary School, Edakkulam.

Around 90 boarders actively participated in the programmes. The sessions were led by Rev. Ninu Chandy, Messrs. Ninan Varghese, Anil M. John, Jissin Philip, Biju Babu and Aashish Thomas.

Thalapady Ebenezer M.T.C

Mission to Parish of the Samajam kicked off on 2, June 2013 at the Thalapady Ebenezer M.T.C. The programme was a blessing to all. Around 100 children attended the meeting, with their parents and teachers.

The children actively participated in the singing sessions and the interactive sessions. Holy Qurbana service was led by Rev. Prince achen.  A special dedication service of the students who were going to begin the academic year was conducted.

Camps

Camps are held for Sunday Schools by the Diocese, Center or the parish. The Sunday School Samajam prepares a theme for the year and publishes a Camp Book with songs for the year.

The theme for this year is "Abide in Christ" (John. 15:4).

I am forced to write this after seeing my pet cat behave 'abnormally' at the noise of festive firecrackers. This happens only during festivals, yes, but one must admit that it happens more frequently than ever before- thanks to the dirt cheap prices and easy accessibility.
