June 12- International Day against Child Labour

Today, ie, the 12th of June is marked internationally as the Day against Child Labour.

Let us join hands, pray and work together for abolishing this cruel social evil. Many children are robbed of their childhood and innocence by working in restaurants, hotels, matchbox and firecracker factories, road work and so on.

VBS updates

Vacation Bible Schools were and still are being conducted in our parishes across the globe. The first, second and the third round VBSs in Kerala have come to a close.
Some of the VBSs in the Chennai-Bangalore parishes were conducted in May.

RAINBOW CORNER :)

We will be beginning a RAINBOW CORNER on our website soon. We would like children to draw pictures, paint, write poems, short stories etc, and send it over to the Samajam. Those works will be scanned and uploaded on this website for all to see.

Mission to Hostels

The Marthoma Sunday School Samajam has also revived it’s Mission to Hostels programme this year.
The first for this year was at the Gurukulam Higher Secondary School, Edakkulam.

Around 90 boarders actively participated in the programmes. The sessions were led by Rev. Ninu Chandy, Messrs. Ninan Varghese, Anil M. John, Jissin Philip, Biju Babu and Aashish Thomas.
